Melvin Boel envisions a return to Feyenoord, aspiring to take on the role of head coach for the renowned Dutch club.

Currently at the helm following his move from FC Dordrecht last summer, Boel has faced challenges in Deventer. Nevertheless, he has achieved noteworthy successes, including two historic victories with Go Ahead. The 38-year-old from Rotterdam previously spent time at Feyenoord from 2017 to 2024.

In a conversation with Voetbal International approximately two months ago, Boel discussed his future in coaching. He stated, “My goal is to further develop myself. I have a vision for my coaching style that I implement at clubs. Whether at Feyenoord, Dordrecht, or now here, the challenge is to succeed in various environments. Currently, I’m doing that in the Eredivisie, but there is still potential for growth in this league as well. Perhaps in a few years, I may even consider trying my luck abroad. I always aim for the highest achievable objectives.”
