Discussions regarding a contract renewal have been postponed. Marcelo Paz, the new sporting director of Corinthians, has already had conversations with the forward about a possible extended partnership. In an interview with CNN Brazil, he stated, “He was incredibly important for Corinthians in 2025, contributing with goals and decisive actions in championships. We haven’t yet begun negotiations for a contract extension because we are still in the team-building phase, so that will be delayed.”

Regarding a potential return to PSV, Boualin remarked, “Memphis has been linked with PSV during nearly every transfer window, especially when they are looking for a forward. At this moment, I don’t find it particularly realistic, but in football, anything can happen. However, I don’t think a move will occur this winter.”
