On November 8, 2025, Outkast and MUNDIAL launched the exclusive Stankonia F.C. capsule collection to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the iconic hip-hop album, ‘Stankonia’, and the duo’s upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This collaboration unites the realms of hip-hop and soccer, showcasing the creative synergy between two influential cultures.

Outkast, comprising André 3000 and Big Boi, released ‘Stankonia’ a quarter of a century ago, transforming the landscape of rap music with its genre-defying sound. The album, a rich tapestry of 24 tracks, is celebrated for its innovative fusion of funk, rock, psychedelia, and rave music. Its experimental nature challenged the norms of musical composition, providing a platform for boundless creativity.

To honor this milestone, Outkast has partnered with MUNDIAL, a publication known for its unique approach to football culture. Together, they have reimagined ‘Stankonia’ as a fictional soccer club, Stankonia F.C. The limited edition collection features a soccer jersey, hoodie, and t-shirts, each designed to reflect the artistic essence of the album.

The jersey, inspired by the classic black and white Stars and Stripes from the album cover, showcases a retro 90s style complete with a well-proportioned collar. Outkast’s logo and the monochrome U.S. flag adorn the chest, while the lyrics ‘Foreva Eva’ from the hit single ‘Ms. Jackson’ are prominently displayed. The back of the jersey features the number 25 and the name ‘Stankonia’, with a pinstripe design reminiscent of the album spine, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail.

The t-shirts carry a custom Stankonia F.C. crest alongside MUNDIAL’s logo, with the album artwork featured prominently, whereas the long-sleeve shirt boasts gothic typography that wraps around the new badge. Additionally, the black hoodie highlights the lyrics ‘The sky is falling, ain’t no need to panic’ from ‘So Fresh, So Clean’.

As Outkast prepares for their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and their hometown anticipates the 2026 World Cup, the launch of Stankonia F.C. celebrates Outkast’s revolutionary legacy, which continues to resonate through the intersection of fashion and soccer. Twenty-five years after their groundbreaking album, Outkast’s influence now extends to the pitch, merging music and soccer culture in a tribute to the sport they cherish.
