Peter Bosz Extends Tenure as PSV Coach for Two YearsPeter Bosz Extends Tenure as PSV Coach for Two Years

It has been anticipated for some time, but it is now official: Peter Bosz will continue as the head coach of PSV Eindhoven. The 62-year-old manager has signed a two-year contract extension. Alongside his colleague Marcel Brands, Bosz also discussed the near future.

In a recent interview, Bosz provided insights into his decision to remain at PSV. Previously reported by SoccerNews, Bosz had expressed his desire to continue in Eindhoven. However, negotiations for a new contract were initially stalled due to issues with the coach’s agent. Following PSV’s victory over Feyenoord on Sunday, the uncertainty was resolved, allowing for the announcement of Bosz’s extension.

When asked about clauses related to a potential national team coaching position, Bosz was clear in his response to ESPN. “Do such clauses exist in my contract? I will not discuss the specifics of my contract. What I establish with PSV is a private matter between us. I respect the KNVB’s position of waiting until after the 2026 World Cup to make a decision. This means we must continue our work. I am thrilled to remain here and contribute to this club.”
