PSV and Peter Bosz Make Progress on Contract ExtensionPSV and Peter Bosz Make Progress on Contract Extension

PSV Eindhoven and head coach Peter Bosz are making significant strides towards a possible contract extension. Various sources report that discussions have been progressing positively, indicating a favorable outlook for the extension. However, there are still some undisclosed agreements that need to be finalized. While an agreement is not yet official, the current sentiment suggests both parties are inclined to continue their collaboration.

As a result, Bosz appears to be less of an option for the Dutch national team. In recent months, speculation has linked his name to the national side, especially as Ronald Koeman is expected to step down after the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, partly due to personal circumstances involving his wife’s health.

In an update provided later in the morning, Marcel Brands, the general director of PSV, shared insights on the impending contract extension during the ESPN program “Goedemorgen Eredivisie.” He confirmed that PSV received a final proposal regarding a new contract on Thursday, which notably does not include a clause related to the national coaching position.
