PSV Confirms Transfer of Tai Abed to UD Levante

PSV Eindhoven has officially confirmed the transfer of Tai Abed to UD Levante on Wednesday morning. According to Eindhovens Dagblad, the Eredivisie leader will receive approximately €200,000 along with a 20% sell-on clause for the Israeli forward.

Abed has signed a multi-year contract with UD Levante. Since joining PSV in 2021, the forward struggled to establish himself in the first-team squad. Although he scored 25 goals in 77 appearances for Jong PSV, he found it challenging to break into the senior team. His recent involvement was limited to a brief appearance in the cup match against amateur club GVVV Veenendaal.

There is a possibility that Abed will reunite with a current PSV teammate next season. Robin van Duiven is finishing the season with PSV but is on the verge of completing a transfer to Real Valladolid, which will add him to their roster without a transfer fee.
