PSV Considers Fulham s Offer for Ricardo PepiPSV Considers Fulham s Offer for Ricardo Pepi

Fulham continues to pursue Ricardo Pepi from PSV, with their latest offer reportedly amounting to €32 million. Commentators Hugo Borst and Kees Kwakman are unequivocal in their opinion on the matter.

Hugo Borst asserts that PSV should accept Fulham’s bid for Pepi. In response to news on Saturday about the €32 million offer, he stated, “What? €32 million? Of course you should take that deal!” Kees Kwakman concurred, adding, “Wrap it up. He hardly plays, so you might as well sell him.” Borst further emphasized that Pepi is not even a regular starter.

‘Preparation for Transfers’

Following Fulham’s earlier offer of €25 million, PSV’s general director, Marcel Brands, commented to ESPN, “There has been considerable interest in Pepi, so we have somewhat prepared ourselves over the past week… Not in terms of his injury, but for a potential departure. We have our lists ready. Fulham’s €25 million offer was something we didn’t even contemplate seriously. Currently, we do not wish to sell. However, given his injury, we must explore possibilities in the transfer market. I believe we will only act if a deal genuinely adds value.”
