PSV Eindhoven, the reigning Dutch champions, are not under immediate pressure to part ways with forward Ricardo Pepi, having secured him with a long-term contract earlier in the year. Reports indicate that Fulham is not the only club keeping an eye on Pepi’s situation, with an additional bid from Marco Silva’s side expected soon.

The Dutch club has adopted a firm stance on its valuation of Pepi, who has emerged as one of the Eredivisie’s most effective finishers since joining PSV, boasting an impressive tally of 25 goals in 59 appearances.

In December 2024, GOAL reported that a bid of €20.7 million for the striker was rejected by PSV. Pepi has become one of the team’s most dependable offensive players, showcasing an excellent goals-per-minute ratio in both domestic and European competitions. This season alone, he has recorded 10 goals and two assists in just 957 minutes of play, following a stellar 2024-25 campaign where he scored 18 goals in 1,132 minutes, finishing as one of PSV Eindhoven’s leading scorers despite missing half of the season due to a knee injury.

The El Paso, Texas native extended his contract with PSV in February, committing to the club until June 2030, thereby strengthening PSV’s negotiating position. Since his departure from FC Dallas in 2022, Pepi has amassed valuable experience in Europe with FC Augsburg and FC Groningen before settling permanently at PSV.

The upcoming weeks will reveal whether Fulham can successfully negotiate a transfer or if Pepi will continue his tenure in Eindhoven beyond January.
