PSV: The Unrivaled Top Club in Dutch Football

In the Netherlands, there are three traditional top clubs; however, according to Sjoerd Mossou’s column in the Algemeen Dagblad, only one can truly be considered a top club.

Mossou argues, “There is only one genuine top club in the Netherlands: PSV.” He elaborates that PSV has surpassed its competitors on nearly all fronts, both on and off the field. Notably, ASML, valued at 450 billion euros, has committed to a partnership with the Eindhoven club for an additional five years.

Furthermore, significant developments are underway: the Philips Stadion is set for considerable expansion, the Herdgang training complex has undergone impressive renovations, and Champions League revenues are flowing in. Additionally, the current squad has strategically renewed nearly all player contracts, with anticipation building for the next major transfer.
