Radu’s Impressive Debut Season with Celta Vigo

Radu is having an impressive season as a player for Celta Vigo during his debut campaign in LaLiga. The Romanian goalkeeper has been voted the club’s Player of the Month for October by the fans.

He expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “Never stop cheering for us, because we will continue to give our all on the field for this shirt. I am very happy and hope to win more trophies in the future.”

The goalkeeper, who recently kept a clean sheet against Alavés, has recovered from an injury that did not hinder his performance: “I am feeling well. My finger still hurts a bit, but I cannot stop because we have a lot of work to do this year.”

Happy in Vigo, he shared, “These have been wonderful months, although it was a bit challenging at first due to difficulties in finding accommodation. However, I am now settled in. When starting a new experience, you always think of the positives. It has been better than I expected. Everything is going very well.”

Now, he is focusing on the upcoming commitments this week, including matches against Ludogorets in the Europa League and Espanyol in LaLiga: “We approach every week with the same enthusiasm and dedication, working hard with the coach. We are ready. At the beginning of the season, I was quite disappointed because we played well but drew some matches. Fortunately, victories have since followed.”
