Raheem Sterling, the 31-year-old England winger who recently parted ways with Chelsea by mutual consent, is currently in negotiations with seven clubs competing in the Champions League. Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley have emerged as notable contenders for his signature, with Spurs’ manager, Thomas Frank, expressing strong support for the potential transfer.

In addition to Tottenham, Burnley is also vying for Sterling’s services, along with Serie A giants Juventus and Napoli. Meanwhile, Manchester United has confirmed that they will not pursue Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer, 23, due to budgetary limitations that place him outside of their financial reach.

Furthermore, Chelsea is reportedly eyeing a significant investment, planning to allocate €150 million (£129 million) to acquire Jude Bellingham, the 22-year-old midfielder from Real Madrid.

Ajax is set to finalize a permanent deal for Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko, 29, who is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Arsenal, for approximately €1.5 million (£1.3 million), with additional fees contingent on the club’s qualification for the Champions League.

Aston Villa’s manager, Unai Emery, has been placed on Real Madrid’s shortlist as a potential successor to their current managerial position this summer.

Chelsea is also engaged in discussions with Rennes to secure 20-year-old French center-back Jeremy Jacquet before the January transfer window concludes.

On the other hand, Real Madrid is interested in acquiring Manchester United’s 26-year-old full-back, Diogo Dalot, to address their defensive shortcomings.

In youth developments, Manchester City has reached an agreement to loan 17-year-old defender Stephen Mfuni to Watford until the season’s end.
