Raúl Moro arrived at Ajax with considerable fanfare and a substantial transfer fee, but he may be set to leave Amsterdam as early as January.

According to the Spanish newspaper La Razón, at least three clubs have expressed concrete interest in collaborating with the youth international from La Furia Roja: Espanyol, Real Oviedo, and Valencia. Currently positioned fourth in LaLiga, Espanyol appears to be the frontrunner to secure his services, likely on a loan basis. Reports indicate that Ajax is open to the idea of loaning out Moro, provided that a reasonable fee is negotiated.

Tyro Nimmermeer, who played alongside the Ajax player in the youth ranks of SS Lazio, shared his impressions of Moro with ELF Voetbal, stating, “I must say that we recognized immediately that Moro was a talented player, but it was during matches that we truly saw how challenging he was for opponents. He is agile, stands out in every game, and has often been the key to our success.”

However, Moro later transferred to Real Valladolid. Nimmermeer added, “Spain, as well as the Netherlands, are much better suited to the type of player he is. We played in a system without traditional wingers. In my opinion, Moro’s best position is as a pure winger, preferably starting from the left, but he can also operate effectively from the right.”
