Ramon Terrats Potential Loan to Getafe Amid Limited Playing Time at EspanyolRamon Terrats Potential Loan to Getafe Amid Limited Playing Time at Espanyol

Ramon Terrats was one of the primary targets for Getafe during the last summer transfer window. After securing Neyou and Javi Muñoz upon their contracts’ expiration with Leganés and Las Palmas, Terrats remained a viable option until he chose to join Espanyol, a club he has long admired. However, his playing time has not been substantial at Espanyol.

In the current season, the midfielder has managed only 230 minutes in LaLiga, spread across ten matches, of which he has started just three. These figures could pave the way for a loan, with Getafe positioned as the leading candidate for his return.

Nevertheless, Getafe’s midfield is adequately staffed. That said, Terrats’ profile could still be a beneficial addition, especially considering his performance last season, where he scored four goals and played a pivotal role under Bordalás. Despite this, the Getafe management is currently prioritizing the acquisition of a central defender and a forward, which are crucial for their coach, and they are open to the possibility of offloading players who have seen less action, provided suitable replacements can be found during what is expected to be a lengthy January transfer window.
