Royalverd, the company responsible for the turf installation, is making every effort to ensure the pitch’s readiness, working in shifts throughout the day and night alongside Rayo Vallecano representatives.

The forecast of rain in Madrid over the coming days contributes to the uncertainty, as a lack of moisture would have resolved the issue. To address the humidity problem, the team is employing heaters, water pumps, and other equipment to improve the situation.

What is clear from Rayo Vallecano is that if Vallecas proves unplayable, Butarque will be the only alternative, as they have ruled out using the Metropolitano Stadium to avoid giving Atlético Madrid a competitive advantage by making them feel more at home.
