Response to Threats Against Feyenoord s DirectorResponse to Threats Against Feyenoord s Director

Despite Michiel Kramer’s concern for Feyenoord as it navigates an unprecedented crisis, he has expressed disapproval of the ‘fans’ who have resorted to threats against director Dennis te Kloese.

In light of te Kloese’s phone number being leaked online, he received numerous threats following the team’s defeat to PSV (3-0). Authorities have already made an arrest related to this matter.

“We are all human. He is doing his job and striving to perform it to the best of his ability. It’s important to acknowledge that every club experiences difficult times; this is part of the football world,” Kramer commented on RTV Rijnmond.

Johan Derksen weighed in, suggesting that the reaction to the threats is somewhat exaggerated. The former footballer recounted his own experiences of having his phone number circulated online, leading to incessant calls from various individuals. “You just change your number and move on,” Derksen remarked casually during a segment on Vandaag Inside, indicating that one can eventually acclimate to such disturbances.
