RFEF Discipline Committee Imposes Two Match Suspension on Brais M ndezRFEF Discipline Committee Imposes Two Match Suspension on Brais M ndez

The Discipline Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced the penalties from the recent matchday, imposing a two-match suspension on Brais Méndez. This decision stems from a red card issued by referee Cuadra Fernández at the suggestion of an assistant, despite the fact that all analysts and commentators of the match agreed that his challenge on Aitor Paredes warranted no more than a yellow card.

Brais Méndez, who celebrated the birth of his child earlier this morning, will miss the upcoming matches against Elche this Saturday at Anoeta and against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on the 14th. However, it appears that Real Sociedad, which has deemed the red card “scandalous,” plans to appeal this suspension.
