Robin van Persie is not pleased with the ongoing rumors and speculation surrounding potential transfers at Feyenoord. He addressed this issue during a press conference on Friday, ahead of the home match against Sparta.

The Feyenoord coach commented on the influx of rumors about the club, stating, “As I have mentioned before, we are keeping our ears and eyes open. We are well aware that the winter transfer period is not easy. We are dependent on free agents, players aiming for the World Cup, or finding a rare opportunity. That’s essentially the extent of our options.” He acknowledged that the team could benefit from strengthening its defensive core, saying, “We are monitoring those positions with extra attention.”

Van Persie emphasized his focus on the team rather than other clubs, saying, “I am not particularly concerned about other teams; my main focus is on our process and playing style. I firmly believe that by effectively managing all components, we increase our chances of winning. We are acutely aware that improvement needs to happen quickly, as football ultimately revolves around winning. Working at Feyenoord means you must strive for victory on a larger scale. I will always give my all for the club, as my sole interest is its success.”
