Ron Jans is contemplating the possibility of retiring from his coaching career in the near future. Currently, he is under contract with FC Utrecht until mid-2026, but he remains uncertain about the exact timing of his departure from the role. This was revealed during his recent appearance on Café Galgenwaard.

During the Christmas special of the program, Jans reflected on several highlights from his tenure as the head coach of FC Utrecht. Host René van den Berg, after reviewing the footage, pondered aloud whether it might be premature for Jans to consider retirement. He stated, “Seeing all of this and knowing that you are contemplating stopping, it seems far too early when you consider all that you’ve experienced and the enjoyment you derive from it.”
