In his first six matches at Chelsea, the 41-year-old has led the team to five victories across the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup. Following a thrilling 3-2 win against Antonio Conte’s Napoli on Wednesday, Chelsea has also secured automatic qualification for the Champions League knockout stage after finishing sixth in the league phase.

The only setback under Rosenior’s tenure occurred during the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal on January 14, where Chelsea suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat despite a second-half brace from Alejandro Garnacho.

He mentioned that his limited presence on social media meant he was unaware of the memes until his children brought them to his attention. In a conversation with Sky Sports, he remarked, “It doesn’t affect me because I’m too old by about three or four years, I’m not on social media. My kids are all over it, and when they see funny pictures, they send them to me and laugh. They love it!”

While Rosenior enjoys the banter, he is also mindful of the scrutiny that comes with his role and has prepared his family for the attention they might attract. “[The scrutiny] does affect your family. I’ve had conversations with them to just enjoy what’s an amazing experience for me and hopefully they can see some really special days to come at this club,” he explained.

He emphasized that he focuses on his responsibilities at Chelsea, stating, “If I think about what people are thinking of me or saying in the media, I can miss out on so many things here. My motivation is just to make this club as successful as possible and to win the next game. The other stuff is just noise, and I can’t affect it anyway—apart from by winning games of football.”

Rosenior aims to continue his impressive run when Chelsea faces London rivals West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday. The Blues are keen to secure three vital points in their quest for Champions League qualification, while 18th-placed West Ham seeks to close the gap in their battle against relegation.
