Rosenior s Promising Start as Chelsea ManagerRosenior s Promising Start as Chelsea Manager

Liam Rosenior expressed his honor in becoming the manager of Chelsea FC during his unveiling earlier this week. The 41-year-old took over the role after departing RC Strasbourg, succeeding the recently dismissed Enzo Maresca.

Despite having limited preparation time for a challenging FA Cup match across London, Hato believes Rosenior effectively communicated his tactical approach to the team before the tie.

Hato opened the scoring in what turned out to be a convincing victory for Chelsea. Goals from Toisin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Pedro Neto, and Enzo Fernandez complemented Hato’s praise for his new manager, as Chelsea handled a spirited performance from their opponents before dominating in the second half.

The 19-year-old defender was named man of the match by TNT viewers. Discussing the match, Hato stated, “We anticipated a difficult game away at Charlton, but I think we executed our game plan well. We created numerous chances and maintained strong defensive discipline, conceding only one goal.”

On scoring his first goal for Chelsea, Hato remarked, “I was quite surprised by the way I hit the ball, which is why I didn’t celebrate immediately. However, I’m thrilled to have scored my first goal for Chelsea, and it was a great moment to do so. I knew it was in.”

Reflecting on his inaugural FA Cup experience, he added, “I enjoy these matches; they are intense with plenty of duels. Today’s game suited my style, and it was beneficial for both me and the team.”

When asked about Rosenior’s influence, Hato responded, “He has a distinct style of play that fits us well. We had multiple meetings with him to clarify his expectations, and I believe we effectively demonstrated his vision during the match.”

Rosenior praised Hato’s performance, noting that the young defender’s goal arrived at a crucial moment. It occurred during a lengthy stoppage at the end of the first half due to a medical emergency in the crowd.

The new Chelsea manager commented, “A strong start, very professional. I believe our first goal came at a pivotal moment in the match, and it was a brilliant strike by Jorrel. The quality displayed by my players was exceptional. This is a solid beginning, and there’s much to build on as we face a less demanding match next Wednesday.”

Rosenior emphasized the importance of goals in changing the dynamics of games, attributing success to player quality. “To score when we did was excellent. I have a fantastic squad, and I was pleased with the starting players.”

Rosenior is the first Chelsea manager to win his debut match since Antonio Conte in August 2016, who achieved a 2-1 victory over West Ham. None of the nine previous managers, including caretakers and interim appointments, managed to win their first game, with the team recording five draws and four losses during those debuts.

The club community hopes this successful start is a positive sign for Rosenior’s tenure. The former Strasbourg manager faces a significant week ahead as Chelsea prepares to meet Arsenal in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday, before hosting their west London rivals next Saturday.
