Sean Dyche has achieved 10 victories in 24 matches since his appointment at Nottingham Forest in October.

As Nottingham Forest prepares to face Wolves on Wednesday, manager Sean Dyche has dismissed speculation regarding his job security, asserting that a single match will not determine his future.

The team is aware that if West Ham secures a victory against Manchester United on Tuesday, their current three-point lead over the 18th-placed Hammers will diminish.

Dyche, who was nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for January, noted that Forest was unbeaten in four top-flight matches prior to their recent 3-1 defeat at Elland Road.

Club owner Evangelos Marinakis has previously dismissed managers Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou this season; however, Dyche has rejected any implications that the loss to Leeds has placed his position in jeopardy.

“The ownership has consistently maintained open communication with me,” Dyche stated. “The owner is fully aware that this journey wouldn’t be without its challenges. We’ve experienced both positive moments and setbacks.

“After our draw against Crystal Palace, where we managed to secure an important point despite being down to 10 men, he congratulated me for our performance. I don’t believe one match will lead him to suddenly decide that a complete overhaul is necessary for the fourth time.

“While it’s impossible to predict the future, I hold a realistic perspective, as does he, regarding our current situation and the circumstances we inherited.

“Interestingly, the same day I received my manager of the month nomination, there were voices suggesting I should be sacked. This is a new experience for me, and I’ve been in this profession for quite some time.”
