Sevilla FC Lists Akor Adams for Transfer at 30 MillionSevilla FC Lists Akor Adams for Transfer at 30 Million

omidbasir- Sevilla FC has officially listed striker Akor Adams for transfer, setting an initial asking price of €30 million. The Nigerian forward has struggled to make a significant impact at the club and, despite being under contract until 2029, has been made available as part of a new strategy under the club’s recent managerial changes.

Adams joined Sevilla from Montpellier for approximately €5.5 million while Victor Orta was still the sporting director. In his year with the team, he has made 21 appearances but has only scored six goals. His time at the club has been marred by injuries, preventing him from becoming a key player. Nevertheless, Sevilla is adamant about securing a substantial fee for his transfer, which has yet to materialize in the current market.

Additionally, Sevilla is reportedly close to finalizing a loan deal with an option to buy for Neal Maupay, a forward from Olympique de Marseille, who has had a lackluster season in the French league.

Furthermore, the club is nearing the completion of Alfon’s loan move to Villarreal, which includes an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the season. Sevilla is also taking steps to offload Marcao, who is recovering from a left scaphoid fracture surgery and may face a prolonged absence. These actions are part of the club’s efforts to navigate financial fair play regulations and strengthen the squad as they face critical positional challenges, all while the winter transfer window is set to close next Monday.
