Between Thursday, November 13, and Tuesday, November 18, 2025, an international window will take place, marking the last of the year. For these national team matches, Sevilla FC will contribute up to eight first-team players, one more than in the previous call-up: Gabriel Suazo (Chile), Odysseas Vlachodimos (Greece), Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke (Nigeria), Orjan Nyland (Norway), Nemanja Gudelj (Serbia), Djibril Sow, and Rubén Vargas (Switzerland). A notable addition is Ejuke’s return to the Super Eagles after more than a year away.

Six Sevilla players are vying for qualification to the 2026 World Cup. Nigeria, represented by Akor and Ejuke, will contest the African playoff in Rabat, facing Gabon on Thursday, November 13, at 17:00. Should they win, they will meet the winner of the other semifinal between Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo three days later. The champion of this mini-tournament will compete in an international playoff, joining Bolivia and New Caledonia, who have already qualified.

On Thursday, November 13, and Sunday, November 16, Nemanja Gudelj and Orjan Nyland will also be in action. In Veljko Paunovic’s debut as manager, Serbia will visit a World Cup-qualified England at Wembley at 20:45, before hosting Latvia in Leskovac at 18:00. With one point less than Albania, Serbia is only in contention for the playoffs. Norway, on the other hand, leads its group and has a better chance, first facing Estonia at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo at 18:00, then traveling to San Siro to compete for direct qualification against Italy at 20:45.

The Switzerland squad, featuring Djibril Sow and Rubén Vargas, is undefeated in its group, significantly improving its chances of securing a spot in the next World Cup. On Saturday, November 15, Switzerland will play Sweden at Stade de Genève in Geneva at 20:45, a crucial match where they need to earn more points than Kosovo. On Tuesday, November 18, they will visit Kosovo in Pristina, where a decisive match could be on the horizon.

Odysseas Vlachodimos and Gabriel Suazo, however, will face less pressure as their teams have no World Cup prospects. On Saturday, November 15, Greece will host Scotland at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium at 20:45, while Chile will play a friendly against Russia at Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi at 16:00. On Tuesday, November 18, the Greeks will conclude their qualification phase at ZTE Arena in Hungary against Belarus at the same hour, while Chile will face Peru at 18:00 in the same venue.
