Sevilla Prepares for Celta Vigo Clash Amid Injury ConcernsSevilla Prepares for Celta Vigo Clash Amid Injury Concerns

Sevilla FC concluded its training week at the sports city on Sunday, finalizing preparations to face Celta de Vigo on Monday.

Alexis Sánchez was absent from the final morning session, focusing on specific training due to a pelvic contusion sustained during Saturday’s practice. As such, the Chilean forward is doubtful for tomorrow’s match, which could further limit head coach Matías Almeyda’s options in the attacking lineup.

Additionally, Marcao did not train with his teammates. Sevilla announced that the Brazilian defender has started an individual training regimen and is expected to rejoin the team by the end of next week. He will also serve the second match of a six-game suspension resulting from his expulsion against Real Madrid. César Azpilicueta, Gabriel Suazo, and Alfon González continue to recover from their respective injuries, while Chidera Ejuke and Akor Adams will remain focused on the Africa Cup of Nations until next Sunday. Yesterday, Nigeria triumphed over Algeria, securing a spot in the semifinals, where they will face Morocco on Wednesday.

In light of the significance of the fixture against Celta at Nervión, Sevilla has decided to offer a promotional pricing scheme. Season ticket holders and club members can purchase tickets ranging from €15 in the Goles section to €50 in Preferencia. General public tickets will be priced from €20 in Gol Norte and Gol Sur, between €30 and €40 in Fondo, and between €50 and €60 in Preferencia.

This afternoon, Matías Almeyda will hold a press conference ahead of the match against Celta, which is part of the nineteenth round of LaLiga EA Sports. The match will take place tomorrow, Monday, at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium at 21:00 hours.
