Support for Van Persie Amidst Criticism Following Heerenveen Draw

Following the 2-2 draw against sc Heerenveen, criticism of coach Robin van Persie has intensified. However, Marco van Basten argues that Feyenoord should continue to support the former star striker.

Van Basten maintains his belief in Van Persie’s potential. “They have faced numerous injuries, and I think Robin wants to play in a certain way,” he stated in Rondo. “He aims for a dominant style, but achieving that in the Netherlands with this squad is challenging.
