Telstar Secures Hatenboer on Loan with Purchase Option

Telstar aims to retain the services of Cedric Hatenboer for the upcoming season, but doing so requires surpassing their own transfer record. The Eredivisie club has officially loaned the midfielder from Anderlecht for the rest of the season, which includes a purchase option set at two million euros.

According to the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the loan agreement for Hatenboer was formalized on Monday between Telstar and Anderlecht. The 20-year-old midfielder had been serving primarily as a reserve in Brussels and is now returning to the Netherlands on a temporary basis after six months. Telstar has secured him on loan with the possibility to purchase him outright. However, to activate this option, the club will need to invest two million euros, a substantial sum for Telstar.
