In contemporary football, where even the smallest details are scrutinized, it is striking—at least to me—how inadequately throw-ins are executed. Often, when players lack options or creative ideas, the result can be comical or even distressing, leading them to resort to a simple kick and dismiss any complexity.

I am not suggesting that throw-ins should be practiced to the same extent as basketball plays, where they can become pivotal moments; however, there is certainly room for improvement in how teams approach this fundamental aspect of the game.
