Tottenham Hotspur has not secured a victory in their last ten midweek Premier League matches (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Head coach Thomas Frank has expressed that Tottenham is “completely aligned” regarding its future, even as he faces increasing expectations from fans for improved results.

Frank stated that the club operates with unity behind the scenes and praised chief executive Vinai Venkatesham for his sound decision-making and exceptional communication skills. “Vinai is one of the best communicators I have ever met,” he remarked, highlighting the importance of effective leadership in both internal and external contexts.

Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Sunderland, Spurs have only managed to win two of their last eleven Premier League matches, leading to frustration among supporters.

In recent weeks, notable managerial changes have occurred in the league, with Enzo Maresca leaving Chelsea and Manchester United parting ways with Ruben Amorim due to disagreements with senior management. However, Frank noted that he has no such conflicts with Tottenham’s leadership.

“The most significant aspect is our complete alignment with the ownership,” Frank stated. He emphasized Venkatesham’s calm demeanor and capacity for making sensible decisions, which he views as rare and crucial attributes in football.

As Tottenham prepares to face Bournemouth on Wednesday, they find themselves in a crowded mid-table, currently occupying the 13th position in the Premier League. Despite being unbeaten in their last three matches, the team has not scored from open play since December 6.

Fabio Paratici, the sporting director, has been frequently associated with a potential return to Italy, particularly with Fiorentina, yet he remains committed to his role at Spurs. Frank commented, “We’re paying his wage, and he’s working very hard. The last time I spoke to him was the morning before the Sunderland game.”
