Tim Kleindienst Approaches Return to Action for Borussia M nchengladbachTim Kleindienst Approaches Return to Action for Borussia M nchengladbach

Tim Kleindienst, the captain of Borussia Mönchengladbach and a striker for the German national team, is making progress towards his return from injury. The 30-year-old officially resumed training with Gladbach on Monday, although a timeline for his return to the Bundesliga remains uncertain.

Since undergoing meniscus surgery over six months ago, Kleindienst has been a pivotal figure for the club, not only as captain but also having secured a contract extension during his recovery.

Despite facing significant administrative challenges, including the departures of head coach Gerardo Seoane and sporting director Roland Virkus earlier this year, Gladbach’s performance has improved. Interim head coach Eugen Polanski has successfully led the team to three consecutive victories.

Given the current form of replacement forward Haris Tabakovic, who has scored four goals in the last three matches, Polanski may opt to take his time with Kleindienst’s return. The severity of Kleindienst’s injury had previously sidelined him until the end of the current month.

Moreover, he will not have the opportunity to represent the German national team until March.
