Training Update Aramburu and Caleta Car Return to Real SociedadTraining Update Aramburu and Caleta Car Return to Real Sociedad

omidbasir- Jon Mikel Aramburu and Duje Caleta-Car were notable presences at this morning’s training session for Real Sociedad, held in Zubieta. Aramburu has successfully recovered from the concussion he sustained in Elche prior to the break, while Caleta-Car has returned after representing his national team, Croatia.

Igor Zubeldia was absent from training once again, but he is expected to rejoin the team by tomorrow or the day after, ahead of Saturday’s match against Osasuna. His absence is significant as he would be unavailable for the match otherwise.

Zubeldia served as captain during last Saturday’s friendly against Palestine, where he was substituted in the 60th minute and returned home with some discomfort. Consequently, he has missed training for all three days that the team has been back in action. As highlighted yesterday, he has the opportunity to participate in training on Thursday and Friday to prepare for the upcoming match at El Sadar.

Meanwhile, Aramburu has fully cleared the concussion protocol, and Caleta-Car is the first international player to resume training under coach Sergio, who hopes that Remiro, Oyarzabal, Jon Martín, and Take Kubo will follow suit in the coming days.

Currently, there are no updates on the injured players: Ander Barrenetxea, Jon Karrikaburu, Yangel Herrera, Orri Óskarsson, and Iñaki Rupérez. Barrenetxea, in particular, was initially believed to have only suffered a knock when substituted during the derby nearly three weeks ago. It appears he, along with the other injured players, will miss the match against Osasuna.
