omidbasir- Recent developments suggested that Ricardo Pepi was poised to make a move from PSV to Fulham FC this month. However, it seems that negotiations have encountered a hiccup, as reported by the reliable journalist Tom Bogert from the United States.

Bogert stated on social media platform X: “Discussions between PSV and Fulham regarding Ricardo Pepi are currently at an impasse. I am hearing from sources in England that while the differences between PSV and Fulham are minimal, Fulham is unable to take the final step to meet PSV’s asking price. The transfer window closes this coming Monday.”

In the meantime, transfer journalist Mounir Boualin discussed potential alternatives for Pepi in the Transfermind podcast, mentioning Alvaro Rodríguez from Elche CF. “From what I understand, PSV is quite impressed with Rodríguez and has been scouting him multiple times. However, he comes with a hefty price tag. It appears that PSV is not willing to meet Elche’s asking price. Negotiations would be necessary, but is there enough time for that? They are very keen on acquiring him. I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of them signing him this winter and then loaning him back to Elche for the remainder of the season. In that scenario, PSV might look to rent another striker to complete the current season.”
