Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams showcased his talent with a spectacular goal from near the center circle, giving his team a 2-0 lead against Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

At 26 years old, Adams celebrated his first Premier League goal earlier this month with an equalizer against Manchester City. He increased his tally with an exceptional shot this week.

In a moment of brilliance, while Sunderland was pushing forward, the Cherries regained possession. Adams noticed goalkeeper Robin Roefs off his line and skillfully lifted the ball over him from approximately 50 yards away.

The goal was officially recorded at 47.4 yards, marking it as the longest goal of the season, surpassing Richarlison’s previous record of 38.6 yards for Tottenham against Arsenal last week.

Despite Adams’ impressive strike, Sunderland rallied to claim a remarkable 3-2 victory in the match.

Earlier this month, Adams was withdrawn from the U.S. national team roster for upcoming friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay after a collision with teammate Adam Smith in a 4-0 loss to Aston Villa. Fortunately, he appears to have made a swift recovery.
