Stuttgart Interested in Jeremy Arevalo for Winter Transfer Window

Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart is aiming to strengthen its striker options during the upcoming winter transfer window. The need has intensified following the injury to Ermedin Demirovic, which has left the squad short in attack.

Jeremy Arevalo Among the Targets

One player under consideration is Jeremy Arevalo, a 20-year-old striker currently at Racing Santander. He has made a strong start to the season, scoring seven goals in 12 matches in Spain’s second division. His contract runs until 2027, but it includes a €7 million release clause, which makes a transfer possible.

However, Stuttgart is not alone in pursuing the forward. Eintracht Frankfurt are also showing interest, while AS Roma and Udinese from Serie A are monitoring the situation as well.

Rising Market Value of LaLiga2 Talents

If Stuttgart were to sign Arevalo, the deal would surpass the €5.25 million Bayer Leverkusen paid for Christian Kofane from Albacete this summer.
In addition, RB Leipzig recently signed Yan Diomande from relegated Leganés for €20 million, highlighting the growing competition for emerging talent in LaLiga2.

Current Striker Situation at Stuttgart

At the moment, Stuttgart only have Deniz Undav and Tiago Tomas available as natural strikers.
Therefore, the club is prioritizing the signing of a recognized forward who can contribute immediately during the second half of the season.

Endrick Not a Priority

In recent weeks, Stuttgart have also been linked with Endrick from Real Madrid.
However, the Brazilian does not appear to be a priority for the club at this time.
