omidbasir- Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart has made their first offer to acquire Grischa Prömel, the Hoffenheim midfielder.

Prömel will be out of contract this summer, prompting interest from multiple clubs eager to sign him on a free transfer, while Hoffenheim is seeking to extend his contract.

Stuttgart’s initial offer is described as ‘lucrative’ for the 31-year-old, who is seen as a potential leader and a goal-scoring asset in midfield.

However, Stuttgart has set a financial cap on how much they are willing to invest in acquiring Prömel. An advantage in Stuttgart’s favor is that this may be Prömel’s last opportunity to secure a substantial contract while also playing for his hometown club.

A decision regarding his future is anticipated from Prömel by March.

Should he join Stuttgart, he could be viewed as an upgrade over Atakan Karazor, the current captain who has displayed certain limitations both physically and technically. Prömel would provide a valuable alternative to teammates Angelo Stiller and Chema Andres.
