Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart is keen on strengthening its striker options during the upcoming winter transfer window. Among the potential targets is Jeremy Arevalo, a 20-year-old striker from Racing Santander, who has netted seven goals in 12 matches in the Spanish second division. Arevalo is under contract in northern Spain until 2027, but he has a release clause set at €7 million. Stuttgart will face competition from fellow Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, along with Serie A teams AS Roma and Udinese, who are also interested in the young talent. Should Stuttgart successfully acquire Arevalo, the transfer fee would surpass the €5.25 million Bayer Leverkusen paid for Christian Kofane from Albacete last summer. Additionally, RB Leipzig recently made a significant move in the LaLiga2 market, securing Yan Diomande from relegated Leganes for €20 million. Currently, Stuttgart’s options for the striker position are limited due to the injury of Ermedin Demirovic earlier this season. At present, only Deniz Undav and Tiago Tomas are available as strikers, leaving the team without a recognized forward. In recent weeks, VfB has also been linked with Real Madrid striker Endrick; however, the Brazilian, who is out of favor, does not appear to be on Stuttgart’s radar.
