Wesley Joins Real Sociedad and Prepares for Upcoming Derby

Wesley is now officially part of the Real Sociedad squad and is participating in the final training session ahead of tomorrow’s derby at San Mamés. There remains a possibility that, if he is registered in time, he could be included in the matchday squad and make his debut for the team, especially with Take Kubo sidelined and Ander Barrenetxea uncertain for the match.

The Brazilian forward has reportedly been training without issue at Al-Nassr, although he did not see any playing time in the last two matches held on the 21st and 26th of this month. This absence may be linked to the decision regarding his imminent transfer to Real Sociedad or another club that has shown interest. Notably, his last appearance alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Iñigo Martínez—whom he may have consulted regarding Real Sociedad—was two weeks ago against Al-Shabab, managed by Imanol Alguacil.
