Wesley Sneijder Unlikely to Become Ajax’s New Technical Director

Ajax continues its search for Kroes’ replacement and has already spoken with prospective candidates such as Jordi Cruijff and Maxwell. This week, Sneijder expressed his interest in the role during a discussion on Ziggo Sport, stating, “If they call, I will definitely engage in conversation.” However, Woerts believes that the chances of Ajax selecting Sneijder are minimal. “Ajax is taking ample time to appoint a new technical director,” he commented on Vandaag Inside. “If they cannot find someone suitable, Alex Kroes will remain in his position after the winter break. There is no rush, and Sneijder will not be chosen.”
