West Ham United has finalized the acquisition of Brazilian striker Pablo Felipe from Portuguese club Gil Vicente on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

The 22-year-old forward joins the London Stadium for a reported fee of 25 million euros (£21.8 million), marking the first signing since Nuno Espirito Santo took helm in September.

Felipe has demonstrated impressive form this season, netting 10 goals in just 13 Primeira Liga appearances. He is set to feature in West Ham’s upcoming Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday.

“I am very happy to join this club. I am committed to giving my all on the pitch, showing dedication and effort in every match,” Felipe expressed. “The fans appreciate players who fight for the badge, and I promise to leave every last drop of sweat on the pitch for this club. I aim to send a strong message that I am here to prove my worth.”

Currently, West Ham has faced challenges in front of goal, sitting at 18th place in the English Premier League, four points adrift of safety.
