According to journalist Ekrem Konu, three teams are closely monitoring Zendejas and assessing the possibility of making a move for him in the upcoming transfer window.

Zendejas’s impressive consistency with América this season has significantly increased his market value and revived interest from Major League Soccer (MLS).

Before establishing himself as a vital player in Liga MX, Zendejas developed through the FC Dallas academy and made his professional debut in MLS. Although he has previously turned down opportunities to return, he has not entirely closed the door on the possibility. During the MLS All-Star week in July, he acknowledged the potential of returning, while emphasizing his current satisfaction with Las Aguilas.

“Obviously, I miss home… [MLS] is a goal for me, but I’m happy where I’m at right now,” he stated. “They treat me well… I’m in a very good spot, and hopefully I’ll look to MLS down the road.”

At 27 years old, Zendejas is enjoying one of his most successful seasons in Mexico, playing a crucial role in André Jardine’s tactical setup. His exceptional one-on-one skills, versatility along the wings, and consistent production have made him a standout figure in América’s offensive lineup this season.

América is set to begin a much-anticipated Liga MX quarterfinal match on November 26 against Monterrey.
